This program trains volunteers to share their forest resource understanding through peer-to-peer education and outreach. The program provides forest landowners with information and assistance to promote healthy and productive forests. Woodland owners who are interested in learning sound forest management practices, but do not need third-party certification as offered by the American Tree Farm Association, may find the Stewardship Program to be an appropriate alternative.
